how do I get mail merge to format and print 3.5 x 5.5 postcards?

I cannot get word to format a message landscaped for the back of a 3.5 x 5.5
postcard, even if I select landscape for the document and in the print
display. I also tried to format in the envelope section, but it will not
allow me to format a document this size. I also cannot get the addresses to
format properly for the front.
