I'm using the "Part and Assembly drawing" as template to design a
mechanical part which will ne manufactured in aluminium.
On the same drawing I have to show general and more detailed views
(enlargements) of various features of the mechanical part I'm
designing. (With "drawing" I mean ONE piece of paper I can give to the
workshop. The guys working there gets really annoyed if they have to go
through several papers to find the dimensions of one mechanical part.)
Specifically the dimensioning shapes have to display the correct
dimensions.
So is there a way of assinging different scales on different parts on
the page?
Different scales on different layers?
Is it possible to fuse two pages with different scales to one print?
Workarounds would be appreciated as well.
I'm using Visio for Enterprise Architects 2005 Beta on a Win 2000
workstation.
If this question has been asked before, I apologize and would
appreciate a direction to the answer (I have been searching around
without success).
