How do I get office 2007 to use windows settings?

Although I like the new ribbon, how do I get Office 2007 to use the Windows
"Appearance" settings from the "Display Properties"? It is the only
application I know that completely ignores the Windows settings and uses its
own - and is the only Microsoft product I use!

It seems to be a "feature" of this new "look-and-feel" that the full screen
mode is not full screen. If I click on the very top pixel line, then the full
screen application behind office is selected! How do I stop this behaviour
(if it is separate from above)?

YOu cannot use any theme except those 3 supported by Office.

You cannot get it to use the Windows settings. It uses its own built-in
settings and you can change those (three color schemes: blue, silver &
black). If you set Windows to High Contrast mode though, it will follow
that setting.

Are you sure the window is actually in full-screen mode? When I have it
in full-screen mode here, I don't see the behavior you are describing.
