How do I get past error 913 in Visio?

I keep getting this message in Visio when I try to save my .vsd file as a
..wmf file:

An error (913) occurred during the action Save As.
Visio is unable to create the file.

To debug, I started deleting objects until I was left with a blank page.
But it still kept giving me an error, despite the blank sheet !!

Any suggestions?

CAUSE
This issue may occur if the following conditions are true: • You try t
save the drawing in a non-Visio 2002 format.
• You try to save the drawing to a file name or folder that contains
long path.
