How do I get Pure Folder View

Is there a way to get just the folders listed on the left hand side of
outlook like you could have it in outlook xp and down I don't want the
buttons, links etc to show on the left hand side at all.

Can't you choose the VIEW Menu & untick "Outlook Bar" & Tick "Folder List" ?

You may need to click on View and wait a moment for the full menu listing to
appear

Select the "Folder List" from the buttons at the bottom of the list. This
drove me crazy for the longest time. I don't like Microsoft telling me how
I should look at my folders.

That's how it is in Office XP and Down Office 2003 is all new style but

Yeah that's currently how I have got it. What I want to do is get rid of
everything bar the folder listing like it use to be in Outlook XP and down
and another thing I hate is when you click on the calendar it wacks a
calendar above the folder list, and what gets me is they changed basically
everything else in outlook 2003 but left the crappy looking outlook today
page the same.
