How do i get Reminders on shared calendars.

I would like to know how to veiw another users reminders. I have permissions
on there outlook and am also a delegate. I am able to look at their calendar
but their reminders do not pop up on my outlook. is there anyway to make this
happen? It would also be handy to see reminders which are on public folders
as well.

Scott,

If this is possible I would like to know as well. I believe that the
reminders are from the server and work directly with a profile which is why
even if you have an additional mailbox added you do not see the reminders.

If there is a work around to this or if my information is not accurate
please feel free to correct it.

Reminders are controlled by Outlook for any mail store, whether an Exchange
mailbox or a PST file. The reminders will only fire from the default Inbox,
Calendar, Tasks and Contacts folders. In Outlook there is a hidden search
folder named Reminders that keeps tabs of all the items in those 4 folders
that have reminders set. When the reminders are due they fire. If the items
are in any other folder (non-default PST or mailbox, public folders or
folders other than those 4 in the default mail store) they will only turn
red when due.

That's all hard-coded into Outlook and that's why reminders will only fire
when Outlook is running. They aren't server based.

The only way to get reminders from any other folder set is to use a 3rd
party COM addin that adds that functionality to Outlook.
