how do I get research task pane back in Word 2007?

Somehow I have lost the ability to have my "research pane" open in Word 2007.
I have the student edition of Office 2007 and it worked before. I dragged
it and then it disappeared never to come back again, no matter what steps I
have taken. I even removed and reinstalled the program.
