How do i get rid of ¶

i don't know what happened but now everytime i use word i
get that paragrapg thing and a dot when i skip a space,
it's annoying how do i get rid of it. I checked everywhere
but don't know what to do.

Press CTRL+SHIFT+8, or click the ¶ button on the toolbar.
Then go to:
