How do I get rid of a pop up window for "Windows Installer"

I keep getting a pop-up window for "Windows Installer". It doesn't say what
is being installed. Also, when a new email comes it, it pops up and will
continue to pop up due to the number of incoming emails.If it's emails, it
will pop up 5 times. If it's 10, it will pop up 10 times. It is more annoying
than anything else. How do I get rid of this? I tried putting the original CD
in the drive, but that doesn't help.

Hi, AB,

You don't mention what version of Office you are using; if it's Office 2000,
try this:

OFF2000: Windows Installer Appears Every Time a Program Is Started:

Oterwise, try to repair your Office installation by running Detect & Repair.

011.CAB and I checked the software that I used and that file is on there.
But, when I did the re-install it did not pick it up. I still have the
problem.
