How do I get rid of automatic capitalization of bullet points

MS Word automatically capitalises the first word in each bullet point. I want
the default to be lower case. Can anyone tell me how to make the change,
please?

In Word 2000 you can click Insert > Autotext > Autotext, click the
AutoCorrect tab, and clear the option to capitalize the first letter of
sentences. In other versions of Word the details may be different, but I
expect the general idea remains the same.
