How do i get rid of grid lines in an inserted excel sheet?

I have inserted an excel file into a publisher document. I want to remove
the grid lines that print. I want just the excel chart to print, no grid
lines.

Publisher does that even if you don't have colored borders set up. Try
selecting the whole work sheet, format all of the cells to have a WHITE
border. Result - no border. (Well, okay. There's a white one but it won't
print unless you are one of the few folks who has access to a high-end
printer.) ;-)

Actually AFAIK it still won't due to the way printer drivers work. To
get a white border to print you'd have to use spot colors, which can't
be done with Excel (yet...)
