How do I get rid of Horizontal Scroll Regions on an infopath form

Trying to create a form to be browser-enabled from a Microsoft SharePoint
2007 Content Type.

In Microsoft Office InfoPath Designer, I get all these controls with
horizontal regions which I get compatibility errors on.

How do I get rid of these?

Horizontal repeating sections are not compatible with Browser enabled forms.
Instead you should design a table layout to place your controls.

I know that. This was a content Type from the server. Why did it download
them with horizontal sections.

I also found a nasty bug when I removed a few of them and tried to check
compatibility without saving. The form reverted back to the original ugly
form.

thanks,

InfoPath will not restrict any form from being published even if you have
controls that are not supported in Browser based forms. It will just warn you
before publishing.

Please read my question---How do I get rid of these so that I can have a
working server form.

What do you mean by how do I get rid of them. Just move all of the controls
inside that region into a table and delete that control. I can get it done
for you if you want.
