How do I get rid of Lycos???????

Dont know if this is where i can get any help.... but i will try.... Running
IE 6.0.... everytime I type anything into address bar & hit enter... Lycos
pops up & then it gets an error..... In use to be able to type anything in
there & it would search with MSN..... how do i get rid of lycos? Its driving
me nuts...... Mary

There are microsoft.public newsgroups that deal with Internet Explorer, but
this one is specifically for Microsoft Access database software.

Just offhand, though, sounds as if something you did caused that Lycos URL
to be saved as your home page. Try, on the menu, Tools | Internet Options,
and on the first tab page, change it back to whatever URL you want to look
at when you open IE. If that doesn't fix it... seek out one of the Internet
Explorer newsgroups.
