How do I get rid of message No Thesaurus is available for Welsh?

S

Screwtop

I have installed Office 2003 on my new computer. For some reason Office now
thinks I'm Welsh. When trying to use Thesaurus it gives me the message "No
Thesaurus is available in Welsh". What do I need to do to remedy this?.

I am Scottish but want to write everything in UK english.

TIA

Open the Control Panel (in Windows) and choose Regional and Language
options, go through that dialog and make sure EVERYTHING is set to English
(UK) especially the keyboard language.

Then from Start, go to All Programs, Microsoft Office, Office Tools, Office
Languages and make sure the English (UK) is set as the Default and REMOVE
any other language from the right hand pane.

Now open Word and go to Review ribbon and select Set Language in the
Proofing group. In this dialog, make sure that English (UK) is set as the
default and clear the checkbox to 'Detect language automatically'.
