MSgrrrr
I have Outlook 2003 on my other computers and it works similarly to my
2000. On those computers, I purchased Outlook separately and installed
it myself. We just got new DSL service and a new Dell computer. I chose
to have Office SB pre-installed.
We did not realize we were getting MSN with our new online service.
Unhappy with how much MSN wanted to control my online activity and
choices, I cancelled that portion of our package.
I now want my Outlook 2003 to look like my others---with a Send and
Recieve option. It's nowhere to be found. I removed MSN, but still have
that nasty Connector in Outlook. After reading one post about Dell
installations, I took the advice and ran Windows installer cleanup, but
that did nothing more than allow me to run my Office setup dics which
wouldn't work before.
When Dell wanted to charge me $40 for help I asked to chat with
customer care. They gave me a coupon to purchase a new FRESH copy of
Outlook, but, after uninstalling Outlook with the original Office disc
and reinstalling it with the new, I have NO SEND/RECEIVE option.
How can I have what I consider a "standard" Outlook setup? I have other
non-MS email accounts I want to access with Outlook.
I'm running XP Pro.
Thanks!
