HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS?? (Unusual appearance of document in Word)

R

Richard White

I have received a document (in OfficeXP Word) which opens up like some kind of email.

Between the toolbars and the document itself, there is a kind of email header with To:, Cc:, Bcc:,
Subject:, and Introduction. (I would attach a screen shot, but can't send binary files to this news
group!)

HOW do I get rid of this email stuff?

I just want to see a normal document I can edit, and I've looked on every Word menu I can think of -
but I can't find anything which relates to this email thing.

Please feel free to email me the answer .....

Thanks

Click the email icon just to the right of the Save icon.

If something doesn't make sense, it could be worse e.g.

Tried that ... there is no "Email" toolbar option at all.

Currently "standard" and "formatting" are selected.
