how do i get rid of write protected when trying to copying someth.

hi,
i was trying to copy something onto a disk but was told "disk A is write
protected. A file can not be saved on write protected disk.
help, what do i have to do?????

On one of the corners of the floppy is a moveable clip.
Push up to cover the hole so one hole is open and the
other is closed.
