how do i get sound and visual email alerts in outlook 2003 if I'm.

i just got office 2003. i want to use hotmail in outlook and get email sound
and visual alerts. i haven't been able to make those options work yet. how do
i do it? i've gone into tools and used advanced email option settings to play
sound and show when new mail has arrived. but it still doesn't notify me when
i get new mail in hotmail. Please help. Thanks.

It does not work with HTTP mail.

account will be deleted without reading.
