How do I get Taskpad to show only task due on a selected date.

How do I get Taskpad to show only task due on a selected date?

I want to customize the preconfigured view called "Active Task for Selected
Days" which shows files by "start date" to show task by "due date." I use the
start date to remind me of the last time I looked at a file, and due date as
the next time I need to look at it, so showing task according to the start
date is not helpful. I want to easily make sure I have not overscheduled
myself by looking into the future to see how many and which files are
scheduled to be worked on a specified date.

You're thinking is right on track, jusdt needf to adjust your process to fit
with Outlook's method of using Tasks Due and Start dates.

Use the Active Tasks for Selected Days view. Use Start Date to be the date
you next want to work on the Task. It will appear on the TaskPad on the
Start Date. So if you want to call me in 3 weeks, you make a Task with a
Start Date in 3 weeks time.

The Due Date just makes it go RED and provides a sense of urgency rather
than planning and scheduling your work.

To check your work loading, use the Timeline view of the Tasks folder - the
Start Date again is key here.
