how do i get text to fade in as a web page is opening in publisher

Sorry, but it is unclear as to what effect you want. Please post your
version of Publisher and a better explanation. Perhaps post a link to a
sample page where we can see what you are wanting to accomplish.

Page Transitions. I dunno if you can do them with Publisher, you can with
FP...and they only work in IE browsers...and I don't think that the lead in
(index page) will transition upon entry...only between pages...and of course
they are highly annoying.
