how do i get the background fill to fit the A4 page?

Having inserted a background colour onto my page on printing the colour falls
short of filling the page. I have tried to adjust the pagr frame measurements
but was unable to resolve this.

It may be a limitation of your printer.

What type of printer are you using?

Many ink-jet printers cannot print to the edges of a page. Just a guess.
