how do I get the colours back in the fill menu?

Using Visio 2007 the Colour select from the Fill Patterns menu is missing,
can't find any way to get it back. This is very annoying as the F3 dialogue
is very slow for this purpose.

If I open the Format > Fill dialog, I see the option to select a Pattern
Color as soon as I select a Pattern (other than None or Solid). If there
is no Pattern selected, then the main Color choice controls the overall
Shape color.

Perhaps I'm missing your point, though. Can you walk me through the steps
you would use in Visio 2003 that are missing in 2007?
