How do I get the date to be permenantly displayed on the bottom toolbar

Off-topic for this newsgroup, but...

Right-click on an empty area of the Windows taskbar, and unlock the
taskbar if it is locked. Drag the top border of the taskbar upwards
until the taskbar changes to double-height. The date should be
displayed now. Lock the taskbar again if desired.

and then clear the check box against Automatically Hide option.
