How do I get the Duration1 field to substract from a Start Date?

Jimmy Guerrero - SCE

I created custom field Date1 and set a formula to be populated. The formula
is intended to substract the number of days in the Duration1 field from the
Start Date field. I entered the desired info in the Duration1 field but I
keep getting an error message in the Date1 field. Any ideas why?
