How do I get the gray area to not print from a mail merge field?

Hi, I've got my mail merge altogether. The database information goes in
correctly but it prints with the gray in the background still there. Does
anybody know how to get rid of that gray shading? Thanks very much. Joyce

Hi Joyce,

On the Forms toolbar (view > toolbars > forms, check and it appears) there
is an icon with a letter a surounded by shading, this clears or sets the
shading.
