How do I get the video controls on links

I want to be able to offer users the controls on the videos they watch on my
site. Currently When they click on the video title, the link takes them to
where I have my video and it plays with no option of replaying or pausing..
what do I need to do?
The videos are wmv and my FP is 2003.
