I have an excel worksheet. I have a column that contains text data and
autofill is turned on. Suppose I have a cell that contains the text 'Duty of
- Employee 1'. Now I want to enter the text 'Duty of - Employee 2'. I start
to enter 'Duty' the autofill function engages and the cell automatically
enters 'Duty of - Employee 1'. How can I hit a key that will position the
insert cursor to be after the 1 so that I can just hit backspace followed by
2? The arrow key takes me to a completely new cell.
The End key removes the insert cursor and leaves the cell selected. How can
I move to the end of the text in a selected cell and still be in text input
mode?
Thanks.
