What sound is chosen for the New E-mail Notify sound event gets played
just once. Of course, you could create a repeating audio file by using
an audio editor to keep duplicating the sound to create a really long
tone, say like an hour long. Problem is that when you get new e-mail
that your hour-long audio file would begin to play and you would have no
way to stop it.
So why is it not possible to see either the balloon popup to prompt you
of new e-mails or use a rule with a clause that opens the alert window
which stays there until you close it?
