How do I get typed text to appear on blank page?

I try typing on a blank page in Word, and no text appears....what is going
on?? Please help!

Forgive my ignorance, Suzanne, but would you tell me how to undo hidden text,
or anything related to that issue?? Please.

Format | Font: clear the check box for Hidden (or use Ctrl+Shift+H).
