How do I get updates of Office 2000 if CD is not available?

I got supplied with a Tablet PC pre configured with Office One Note 2003 and
Office 2000 (SR1?). Problem is that I dont have the CD for the Office 2000
and so cannot update on-line. Worst still I cant use the Excel part of Office
as it keeps trying to install Excel unsuccessfully without the CD. How do I
get round this problem?

1.. After clicking "Agree and Install" select "No" to the question "Do you
have access to your products CD?"
2.. If it still asks for your disc during installation select "Cancel" and
navigate back to
http://office.microsoft.com/officeupdate/maincatalog.aspx?lc=en-us; let it
scan for updates again.
3.. Write down the KB number of all the updates listed.
4.. Navigate to
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdate/default.aspx.
5.. On this page use the search tool to search for the KB numbers.
6.. Download and install the corresponding updates. If there is a choice
of which file to download be sure to download the one with "fullfile" in the
file name.

Well lots of thanks, Ben B. Problem is that all options still failed! Got the
O2kSp3.exe (12.95MB) but it still asked for the CD and the DATA1.msi file.
Even went through the horror of dowloading the fullfile (O2kSp3a.exe,
58.14MB) from the Resource Tool site with a 56k connection all to no avail.
Got the KB numbers of the other updates, dowloaded them but they still wont
install. Suppose I should just unistall and go buy Office 2003 or XP. Thanks
again and keep up the good work.
