How do I get User Access Privileges in Word?

I cant access a bunch of my documents that i wrote yesterday. It keeps saying
i dont have user access privileges. On my other documents it shows an authors
name, but on these particular documents it doesnt show an authors name. I
need to access these and print them out ASAP!
