How do I get whole page up, have to scroll across now

Last month, I changed the size of my pages because you could not print a page
because it was too wide. Now I am trying to change information in pages on
Front page live and I have blank spaces on either side of the page and I have
to scroll across. What is going on. How do I get whole page up in my view
so I don't have to scroll across page to change.
