How do I get Word 2002 to do mail merge correctly?

I am trying to create a mailing list of labels. I use the addresses in
Outlook. However, occasionally the fields get reversed: the zip code and
something else swap places. I've checked my Outlook entries to make sure all
the data is correct and in the right places, but I still get some errors.

I'm not a programer, just an experienced user.

Then you need to ask in the word.mailmerge.fields newsgroup. Be sure to specify
the versions of Word and of Outlook, and whether you're initiating the merge
from within Word, or within Outlook.
