I have installed the office xp small business 2002 proofing tools english,
french, and spanish proof tools and enabled eng us, eng cdn, french france,
french cdn on xp.
It does do the spell checking and thesauras for eng and french.
The french to eng and eng to french selections show in the translate pane,
but even the simplest words (dog, father, file, program, pere, ecole, dans)
result in "No suggestions".
Office implies it installs ready do simple translations of words in these
languages and only more complex words/phrases require addins or web services,
but this does not seem to be the case.
Please verify if it can be done and if so how.
