How do I go from Outlook 2002 to 2003 in order to syc w my iPod?

In order to sync from Outlook to my iPod Nano, I need a newer version of
Outlook. I have XP 2002 and I need at least 2003 or later. Is there a way
to upgrad without going to Outlook 2007?
