How do I go to the next page for mailing labels

Sabrina

Hi, we are opening a new dental practice and I am typing in my husband's
patient list to do direct mail pieces. I finished page one and just want to
keep on adding and adding. Dumb questions. How do I just go to page 2,
etc., etc.? Thank you for your time in this matter. Sabrina

Are you typing into labels?

This is not a good plan. Better to create a table which has the entries for
each patient one per row and which you can then use as a data file for mail
merge. To save retyping, see
http://www.gmayor.com/convert_labels_into_mail_merge.htm

When filling a table, tabbing out of the last cell will create a new row.

Sabrina - I agree that what you explained that you are doing is probably not
the best solution. If you have Excel - belive me it would be a better place
for you to type this "database." If you don't have Excel then typing it into
a table is probably the next best thing. You will be able to use the Excel
file for your mail merges, etc. and it is a lot more flexible in handling the
data as time goes on and your patient list grows. Type the First name in one
cell, last name, address 1, address 2, city, state and zip code all in
separate cells, in Excel or Word. At the end of the day this will prevent
you from trying to separate the fields for other use...for example -
referring to "Patients first name" in the context of the document, other then
in the address. You could also have cells for things like Child1 name,
Child2 name, etc. etc. Please give this database some thought before you
start. Think about how you might use the information later on and not for
just addressing.
