how do I have SideNote open the last note at startup?

Every time I bring up SideNote, it opens a new note for me.

Most of the times I jsut want to edit my last note, and not start a new
one. How can I have Side Note start up with my last note I worked with?

thanks!

As far as I am aware Side Note always offers a new blank page, if you
open it from the taskbar. I don't think there is a way to change that,
if you open it in the Side Note form.

If you want to carry on working from where you left off, then why not
just open OneNote?

If you're actually using the icon in the System Tray/Notification Area, you
can change its behavior to open OneNote instead of a SideNote. Right-click
on the OneNote Tray icon, then click Options | OneNote Icon Defaults | Change
the check mark to "Open OneNote".

I don't know of any way to change the Win-N behavior, which will always
create a new SideNote window with a new page.

I did not have the 'Options' tab in the Sys Tray, because I did't have
Service Pack 1 installed.
After installing SP1, I was able to change the settings like you
suggested, and the icon does exactly what I wanted it to do.
cheers!

Or when you bring up the Side Note window, you could use the left arrow to
get to your previous note. (That's assuming you haven't moved it from the
Side Note section.)
