How do I help Vista to accept Office Ultimate 2007 ?

I had a difficult time downloading Vista before it would be accepted.

Now I am having a difficult time downloading Office Ultimate 2007 from discs
to drive.

It will read the DVD RW but will not download to drive.

Could the copies which I have be inauthentic? False?

What am I doing or not doing correctly to not be with all of the programmes
on Office Ultimate 2007?

What does "difficult time downloading Vista " mean?
It was a clean install, upgrade or what?
