How do I Hide shapes with any of the assigned layers in Visio?

I am trying to get a shape to hide when either of the layers it is asigned to
are hidden via the layer control. It becomes hidden when the first assigned
layer is hidden, but not the second.

While it didn't answer my question exactly, I was able to work out how Visio
handles this by following your examples.
