Night Owl,
You have posted this question to the Microsoft Access newsgroup, perhaps you
were looking for the Word newsgroup? That would be a wee bit further down
in the Microsoft interface. However, since you are here I will offer a
suggestion...
Find the files on your new computer, rename the extension to .OLD and then
copy your files from your old computer on to your new computer. Do one at a
time... this way if it doesn't work you can just rename the ones that were
on the machine back to their *real* extensions. Now, that should work for
custom.dic but not sure what back-files you are referring to or what file
you copied for the autocorrect. You might want to post in the Word
newsgroup with the actual file names!
Good Luck!

I copied custom.dic, autocorrect, and backup files from an old computer via
flash drive. How do I import it to my new computer.
TIA.
