How do I import Earthlink emails into Outlook 2007?

I have saved my Earthlink emails as DAT and CSV files, but neither can be
usably imported into Outlook 2007. Suggestions welcomed. Thanks much.

The CSV files should be importable in a useable fashion.

I have an earthlink email account and want to save them to Outlook before I cancel my earthlink account and loose those emails. Any ideas how to do this. I've already copied them to a CD as a DAT file.
