How do I import mbox mail files into Outlook XP

We recently shifted one of our Linux desktops back to
Windows. I have a need to import mail from the employee's
Linux data. The mail is stored in Unix-style mbox files.
How can I import these into Outlook XP?

Thanks,

Jason

You may have to export the data to a csv file, and then use that file
to import into Outlook using the menu option File/Import and Export.

Check the offerings under File/Import to see if mbox is supported.
Otherwise, the csv format might do the trick anyways.

Professional MBOX Converter Software from BLR Tools converts MBOX files to PST. It is simple for technical and non-technical people to import MBOX files to Outlook. The program converts MBOX files to PST files, which are imported into Microsoft Outlook.
  • Install the BLR MBOX Converter on your Windows Laptop/PC.
  • After installation, open the software and click “Add File” on the interface.
  • Select Add MBOX files. You can add several MBOX files or a folder.
  • Locate and pick MBOX files, then click "Open.”.
  • The app previews MBOX emails. This phase checks MBOX file content before conversion.
  • Among the export types (EML, MSG, NSF), choose "PST."
  • (Optional) Date range filters, split PST, and other program parameters are available.
  • Select a target folder for the converted PST files by clicking "Change.”.
  • Click “Export” to convert.
  • Allow the procedure to finish. The time depends on the MBOX file size.
