Hi!

I need to some help in getting my O-2003 data files back into my new
computer. My old one crashed and I had to extract the hard drive.

How can I get back my archived emails and address books?

I am fluent in computers but can't seem to get it to work. Import and Open
do not seem to work nor does transplanting the files into th enew loaded
program.

Thanks for your help!

Look for any files that you got off the old computer that end in .pst
They are outlook data and you can open them from Outlook.

THe problem is that I cannot located the Local Settings file. Maybe I need
to open the hidden files?

I don't know what you mean my local settings file. All Outlook objects
(E-Mails, Contacts, etc.) are housed in .pst files. See if you can find any
you got off your old computer. In Outlook, File->Open....
