How do I indent paragraphs while typing in OneNote 2003?

New user to OneNote 2003. While typing, I like the "Word" paragraph style of
an indention at the beginning of each paragraph. When typing in OneNote, the
indention becomes the starting point for the entire paragraph. How do I
change that setting so "Tab" becomes a normal "tab" function?

You can click the "Increase Indent" button on the toolbar.

Thanks for the assistance Ben, but I may have not asked my question
correctly. What I'm looking for is the ability to indent the first line ONLY
of a paragraph when typing in OneNote. Currently, if I tab an indention, the
entire paragraph lines up to that indention, not just the first line. It
makes it block text format.

Ah, yes I see what you mean. Sorry, it doesn't do that currently. I
guess you could use the spacebar for that; though I realize that's not a
great workaround.

The OP could possibly hit Enter at the end of the first line, and then
add/modify the indents on the "paragraphs" separately, but that obviously
won't survive if you edit the text.

Remember that OneNote is not a word processor ;)
