How do I input Japanese Kana on Office 2003 running Windows XP?

I want to be able to type on my keyboard and have it translated to Japanese
Hiragana and Kanji on Office 2003. It seems that the IME's out there only
work with Office XP, but there has to be some other way besides getting a
whole new OS. How do I get this elusive "Language" bar in order to type in
East Asian Languages. Everyhting available on the Microsoft Office.com
doesn't work.

If you have Office 2003 with Windows XP, then use the IMEs in
