How do I insert a delay in my Outlook outbox?

My my is sent directly I hit send. I can see no way of putting a delay in my
Outbox so that I can view all my outgoing mail before it is despatched.

You can turn off the immediate send here in OL2003: Tools menu > Options >
Mail Setup tab.

Of, if Vince's solution is not to your liking, before clicking Send, click
View?Options and specify a delivery delay.
