How do i insert a table in onenote

Iam using onenote 60 day trial version in standalone PC (its not a table PC)
how can i insert a table in my page. I found no menu item. Is there a way to
insert a table. Like wise i could not copy a table from my word document to
onenote why?

There's no real table support in OneNote 2003. You can hit Tab to create
pseudo-columns but that's about it.

You can only really copy it as an image.

Table support is coming in OneNote 2007 due late this year/early next year:
