How do I insert a template into an existing word document?

I have numerous word documents that all need the same template, how to I do a
merge of the template to all the documents at the same time?

I'm wondering the EXACT same thing! Have you received any help on this? I'm
attempting to complete this for work and am so lost.
Any suggestions would be awesome!

I don't understand what you are trying to do. You have Normal.dot which is
the formatting for your default New Document. Then you have other templates
from which you can create a new document in a format different from
normal.dot. If you wish to change the default New Document Format, then edit
normal.dot. otherwise I am at a loss as to what you are trying to do....
