How do I insert a transparent word under a paragraphs.

I need to have a "SOLD" appear "under" the paragraph advertising the
equipment.

You can also find a lot of "Sold" images in ClipArt. Handle them the same as
Suzanne suggests... and you can go to the Format Picture dialog box & use the
settings on the Picture tab to adjust the brightness & contrast.
