How Do I Insert an Object into a Slide?

I'm trying to insert an AutoCAD drawing (as an object) into a Power Point
slide. and can't find an "Insert Object" option. I used to use Office 2000,
and have upgraded to 2003. Can someone help with this??
Thanks!

Is the Insert/Object on the Insert menu grayed out or can't you find it. If
you can't find it you probably don't have the menu items showing the full
menu. Either click on the arrow at the bottom of the list to open the menu
totally or click Tools, customize and then "Always show full menus" then
click OK

If it is grayed out, something from the original installation of Office
(PowerPoint) was not installed. Do a setup and look at the options that
have been installed.

If the AutoCad option is not showing, AutoCad probably isn't installed (just
guessing here.)
